Welsh Library Mural

The Jefferson Davis Parish Library is currently accepting applications from artists interested in creating a commissioned public art mural in Welsh, LA at the McBurney Memorial Library branch.

Project Description:

The Jeff Davis Parish Library is seeking a talented artist to create a mural for the new Welsh library events center. This mural will incorporate a large section of exterior wall which is the planned location for a mural. See below for a depiction of the proposal art installation area.

  • RFQ Release: September 12, 2025
  • Submission Deadline: October 31,2025
  • Artist Selection: November 7, 2025
  • Mural Completion: January 31, 2025
